The industrial revolution began with hand-woven (handcrafts), and Kuska launched its own brand, "KUSKA," which was committed to all-handmade, since 2010, rather than manufacturing that is uniformly mechanized and is focused on mass production and mass consumption, which pursues only productivity, but rather than manufacturing that globally expresses the texture of hand-woven fabric produced by craftsmen. We have been offering this main product for 10 years, focusing on ties, a symbol of men's aesthetic sense.

And we hope that more people will be able to experience and feel the rich look of the hand-woven fabrics created by Kuska. With this in mind, we were reborn from the tie brand "KUSKA" to "kuska fabric."

Kuska fabric interacts with each material and delivers the rich bulge, shadows and gentle textures that are born from the handicrafts of individual craftsmen to the future. kuska fabric aims to be a unique global brand, "with 300 years of beautiful manufacturing and pride in our hearts."

Born in Tango, Kyoto, Japan's largest silk fabric production area.
He spent his days playing baseball at junior high and high school, Meitoku Gijuku in Kochi Prefecture, and then worked on construction on-site at a construction company in Tokyo. At the same time, he becomes completely absorbed in the charm of surfing and spends his days on surf trips all over Japan (and occasionally overseas).

One spring day, when I went back to Tango to surf, I was moved by the sight of my company's craftsmen carefully making things one by one, and as a Japanese person, I was convinced that there is something that I have to keep as a Japanese person. He immediately retired from a company in Tokyo and joined his company at the age of 30, and spent two years training in textiles, creating a concept for his own brand.

At the age of 32, he became CEO of the company, aiming to create things that are not found in mass production, and has disposed all machinery and looms, specialising in all-handmade hand-wovens, and launched Kuska, a brand that combines the three elements of "tradition, fashion and art." He develops a collection that focuses on clothing accessories, mainly ties and stoles. He believes his mission is to rebrand kuska fabric in 2022 to modernize traditional crafts, and is working on his daily production activities.
In addition, he launched THE TANGO, a web media specializing in his hometown of Tango, Kyoto, in 2018, and as the director, he aims to create a form of regional revitalization for the next generation.
